For the 2019-2020 influenza season, the CDC and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) continue to recommend annual flu vaccination for everyone aged 6 months and older who does not have a contraindication to receipt of vaccine.
This and other recommendations from the ACIP aim to educate health care professionals on how to best use vaccines for the prevention and control of influenza during the upcoming season (MMWR Recomm Rep 2019;68[3]:1-21).
