ATLANTA—The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended the use of Vaxchora (PaxVax Bermuda Ltd.), the recently approved cholera vaccine. The ACIP also voted against using the live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV; FluMist, MedImmune), known as the nasal spray flu vaccine, during the 2016-2017 flu season.
