Resistant E. coli Found in Georgia’s Recreational Waterways

ATLANTA—Scientists have found Escherichia coli—some strains drug-resistant—in recreational waters around Athens, Ga., but they do not know how much of a public health concern it could be, according to a report at ASM Microbe 2018 (abstract 675).
