SEATTLE—Although deaths from HIV are declining thanks to antiretroviral therapy, non-HIV causes of death are increasing among those living with the disease, and Judith S. Currier, MD, MSc, said she sees a “real upswing” of these deaths with an aging HIV-infected population.
