Conventionally Raised Poultry Twice as Likely to Be Contaminated With MDR Salmonella

WASHINGTON—Meat from conventionally raised poultry was twice as likely to contain a strain of Salmonella that was multidrug resistant than poultry labeled antibiotic-free or organic, according to a study presented at IDWeek 2019 (abstract 102).
