High Mortality in B. cepacia Complex Infections in Non-CF Patients

A 17-year study of Burkholderia cepacia complex (BCC) in non–cystic fibrosis (CF) patients has found high mortality and antibiotic resistance among the primarily hospital-acquired infections.
