The FDA extended the expiration deadlines for the CorDx TyFast Flu A/B & COVID-19 At Home Multiplex Rapid Test, which is authorized for use under an emergency use authorization.
The expiration dates have been extended to reflect the longer shelf life, the agency said. The extension is based on additional data provided by the manufacturer showing how long the tests can be used with the same expected accuracy.
