The FDA approved Pfizer’s pneumococcal 20-valent conjugate vaccine (PCV20; Prevnar 20) to prevent invasive disease and pneumonia caused by the 20 Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes in the vaccine in adults 18 years of age and older.
