CDC Reports Increase in Cyclospora Cases

The number of Cyclospora cases has increased over last year, according to the CDC. In 2017, 206 cases of Cyclospora infections were reported from May to August, compared with 88 cases during the same period in 2016.

As of Aug. 2, 27 states have reported cases of Cyclospora, with 18 cases requiring hospitalization. There have been no deaths, the agency said.
