Measles cases have reached a 25-year high in the United States with 704 individual cases reported in 22 states from Jan. 1 to April 26, 2019, senior U.S. public health officials announced in a telebriefing on April 29.
The 704 cases reported as of April 26 was an increase of 78 cases from the previous week, with more reported measles cases expected as the outbreak continues, they said.
